At TokenDecode, our primary goal is to provide developers with fast and private utilities. We believe that developer tools dealing with potentially sensitive data (such as tokens) should respect your privacy by default.
Client-Side Processing
The core utilities of TokenDecode—including the JWT Decoder, JWT Inspector, Base64URL tools, and Token Generator—are engineered to process data locally within your web browser. When you paste a token or payload into these tools, the data is not intentionally transmitted to our backend servers.
- Token contents are not placed into public URLs.
- Token contents are not logged or stored in a remote database.
- Token contents are not captured in analytics events.
Data Retention
Because processing occurs in your browser's memory, we do not retain the data you input into the token tools once the browser session is closed or cleared.
Analytics and Third-Party Services
We may use generic analytics software to understand how our website is used (for example, tracking which pages are visited or aggregate traffic data). If implemented, these services are strictly configured to avoid capturing user input, token structures, or any sensitive data.
In the future, TokenDecode may integrate third-party advertising services to support the continued development of the site. If and when advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated to reflect the necessary data collection practices required by those third parties (such as cookies used for ad delivery and measurement).
Limitations
While we have architected the site for local processing, your interaction with TokenDecode remains subject to the underlying behavior of your operating system, web browser, browser extensions, and network configuration. We do not provide a guarantee of total anonymity or absolute security against malware or compromised local environments.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our tools or legal requirements. Continued use of TokenDecode after updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
